Tyler Goodrich - DUI



Vt. State Police - 1:40 am Tue Oct 14th, 2014

While conducting a deer poaching investigation on Whipple Road in South Hero, VT a Vermont F&W Warden observed a vehicle lose control and overturn near his location.

The Warden rendered assistance and determined the operator, Tyler Goodrich, was not seriously injured. The Warden suspected Goodrich had been operating while impaired and contacted Vermont State Police to complete the investigation.
Upon arrival Troopers met with Goodrich. Troopers also suspected Goodrich was impaired and administered field sobriety tests. At the conclusion of the sobriety tests Goodrich submitted to a preliminary breath test(pbt). The result of the pbt was .104%. During the investigation Goodrich admitted to consuming alcohol and marijuana prior to the crash. He was later arrested and processed for DUI. Marijuana and marijuana pipes were located in his vehicle.
