Luther "Guitar Junior" Johnson is one of the premier Chicago blues artists. Johnson served a long sideman apprenticeship with both Magic Sam and Muddy Waters and is now widely considered the foremost proponent of the West Side guitar style and the heir apparent to the late Magic Sam's West Side throne. He has shared the stage with The Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, The Allman Brothers, Johnny Winter, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jerry Garcia, Bonnie Raitt and many more. Johnson continues to win over audiences worldwide and leaves them stomping and hollering for more with his powerful guitar work, soulful singing and charismatic, highly visual show.
Matt Schofield is lauded as the British blues guitarist of current times. The LA Times stated, "In Schofield, the UK has produced the best blues guitarist from any country in decades. Head and shoulders above the herd." The recipient of major awards - British Blues Awards Guitarist of the Year 2010, 2011 & 2012 (making him the first guitarist in the British Blues Awards Hall of Fame), Mojo Magazine Blues Album of the Year 2011 and British Blues Awards Album of the Year 2010. He was rated in the top ten British blues guitarists of all time by Guitar & Bass Magazine alongside such icons as Eric Clapton and Peter Green.
Al Moore Blues Band plays guitar-driven blues, rock and boogie. Its high-energy performances and deep catalog of classic and original material combine the tradition of Chicago-style blues with the potency of lean, loose rock n' roll. Formed in Burlington in 2012 and gigging steadily ever since, the band is Dennis Lemoine on vocals, Paul Boffa on bass, Rob Dolan on drums and Al Moore on guitar.
Dave Keller is one of the finest soul and blues men of his generation. His new album Soul Changes has been nominated for a Blues Music Award (BMA) for Best Soul/Blues CD of 2013. The BMAs are the Grammys of the blues world. He is the 2012 winner of the Best Self-Produced CD of the Year Award at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis. That CD, "Where I'm Coming From", reached #2 on Sirius/XM Radio's blues channel in May 2012. About.com recently said, "Dave Keller is gonna be huge!", and it's starting to seem that way.
