Owner could be forced to take care of derelict building

A rundown building in Morrisville village was declared a public health hazard after pieces of its crumbling facade fell onto the sidewalk last week.

Town officials have fielded complaints for years about what's called the Nepveu building at 82 Portland St. The building has been vacant since a furniture store there closed nearly a decade ago.
