Multiple juvenile males - Vandalisms - 4 separate incidents

Members of the Vermont State Police Middlesex Barracks have been investigating incidents in which the East Montpelier Elementary School sustained significant damage due to vandalism on four separate incidents which occurred between Labor Day weekend

and 9/28/14. Graffiti was spray painted on the building and multiple surfaces, to include the school's playground equipment.
On 10/2/14 several juvenile males not affiliated with the East Montpelier Elementary School were issued Juvenile Petitions to answer to the charge of Vandalism. This is an active investigation and more arrests are expected.
The total cost of damage is undetermined at this time, however school officials are currently working on assessing the damage and what it will cost to repair and/or replace the damaged property.
The investigation is on-going and the State Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity, vehicles or persons in the area to call 802-229-9191, or to submit an anonymous tip, simply text "CRIMES" (274637) to Keyword: VTIPS.
